Edith (Fischer) Gorsky

Edith Gorsky (Fischer) aged 92 passed away peacefully on Friday May 15 at Heritage Manor in Youngstown.

Edith was born on January 11, 1928 in Michkolz Hungary a daughter of Abraham and Rose Fischer.  Edith, her mother and three siblings emigrated from Hungary in 1939 and settled in Cleveland Ohio.

She was married for 62 years to her husband, Irving, who passed away in November  2012.

Edith was a loving mother to her two sons David (Laura) and Mark Gorsky

She was a loving and caring individual who always put others before herself. If there ever was a superwoman, it was Edith, who somehow managed to devote her time and energies full time running the family business, maintaining  a household and providing care for her loving mother Rose simultaneously  always with the utmost care love and devotion..

Besides her husband and parents Edith is preceded in by a sister Margit Klein and two brothers Zoltan and Nickolaus Fischer.
 

Private graveside services will be held at Temple Ohev Tzedek Cemetery on Sunday May 17, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. 

In Edith's memory, contributions may be made to Heritage Manor, 517 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, OH 44504 whose staff took exceptional care of her.
