Edith "Edie" Berman Goldstone

Private services will be held for Edith "Edie" Berman Goldstone, 93, who died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023 in Heritage Manor with her family by her side.
Edie was born on November 27, 1929, in Youngstown, Ohio to Helen and Harry Berman. She graduated from South High School in 1948 and began her chemistry degree at Youngstown University. Before she finished, she fell in love and married Allen Goldstone.
They raised 4 children, Susan (Murray), Lori (Alan), Lynn (Oscar), and Joel (Lisa) in Liberty. Edith loved her schnauzers, gardening, stitching, and playing bridge and canasta with her friends. She adored spending time with her 10 grandchildren, Kenny (Catie), Kari, Andy, Daniel (Marissa), Jennie (Ben), Michael (Jordan), Aaron (Kelsay), Jordan, Rebecca (Shane), and Rachael plus her 7 great-grandchildren, Enoch, Ezra, Isaac, Anna, Archer, Jonah, and Abram.
She spent the winters on Siesta Key in Sarasota, Florida where her family loved to visit her. She was an excellent seashell-finder and made sure her condo celebrated Hanukkah in the lobby each winter. She was always baking, famous for her babka, and she enjoyed full chocolate bars throughout her long life.
She spent her final years well-loved, taken care of, and visited At Heritage Manor. Her family would like to thank all of her wonderful caregivers.
