Pauline Berkowitz Obituary

Pauline was born January 1, 1919 in London, England, and died April 24, 2021 in Los Gatos, California, her intervening one hundred and two years focused on family, friends and students, all animated and enriched by her wit (in English, French and Spanish), loyalty, dignity, curiosity and an always youthful frame of mind. Predeceased by her husband, Sidney M. Berkowitz, Rabbi of Congregation Rodef Sholom for almost forty years, she is survived by her brother Godfrey Anderson (Bessie) of Youngstown, OH, sister Heather Lonsdale of Oxford, UK, sons Roger (Rhoda) of Pittsboro, NC and Laurence (Maryann) of Los Gatos, CA, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
