Youngstown-
Sidney Z Rusnak, 87, died on Saturday, May 21st at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
Sidney was born October 18th, 1934 in Youngstown, a son of Alex and Dorothy Rusnak. He married the love of his life, Gerry Rusnak, in 1956 who he shared a wonderful life and raised four children with until her death in 2012.
Sidney worked for over 30 years for Hearn Paper as a sales associate. After his retirement, he provided security services for several area businesses, including the Phantoms Fireworks Company. Sidney was a member of Congregation Ohev Beth Sholom for many years.
He is survived by his two sons, Mark (Ruth) Rusnak of Howland and Leonard (Amy) Rusnak of Hubbard, and two daughters, Dawn (Jordan) Rosedale of Massillon and Cindy Rusnak of Niles and a sister Reva Klein of New York City. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Max, Jackson, Phoebe, Chloe and Gabe; as well as two great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Caleb.
Besides his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by his brother Martin Rusnak.
Memorial contributions be made to Congregation Ohev Beth Sholom.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 24th at 11 am in the Rodef Sholom section of the Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shriver-Allison-Courtley-Weller-King Funeral Home.
