Funeral services will be graveside at 11 a.m. at Ohev Tzedek Cemetery, 4260 Tippecanoe Road, Canfield on Friday, August 26, 2022 for Susan Carol Mostov, 78, the devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Susan Mostov passed away at home with her loving companion cat Girlfriend never leaving her side.
Susan was born in 1944 to Fred and Lillian Klein of Youngstown, and that is where she spent her childhood. She attended Boardman schools and Ohev Tzedek-Shaarei Torah. Susan graduated with a degree from George Washington University in Early Childhood Education.
Susan taught preschool at Ohev Tzedek and the Jewish Community Center. She also spent endless hours volunteering at various Jewish area organizations, as well as at hospitals and schools. Devotion to yoga, water aerobics and walking daily, kept her MS in check for countless years.
Susan is survived by many who loved her. Daughters Shana (John), Julie (Steve) and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald and her sister, Ilona Klein.
The family is extremely grateful for caregivers Tammy, Paula, Margo, and Connie who lovingly cared for Susan.
